About the job

If you believe a girl's ZIP code should never limit what she gets to explore, and you love bringing bold ideas to life through hands-on learning, community partnership, and a little road-trip energy, this role is for you. As our Mobile Program Coordinator , you will build a new program from the ground up and bring memorable Girl Scout experiences to girls and communities across Oregon and Southwest Washington.

The Basics

What You'll Do

This is a rare opportunity to create something new and then see it come alive in communities across our service area. As the Mobile Program Coordinator, you will listen to girls, families, schools, and community partners; turn what you learn into engaging programs; and prepare a mobile program vehicle that is ready to roll. You will lead the soft launch in summer 2027 and the full rollout in October 2027, then continue shaping the program through every visit, partnership, and participant response. You will have room to experiment, learn, and make thoughtful decisions, backed by colleagues across programs, technology, property, communications, retail, and fund development.

Responsibilities

What You Bring

We are most interested in finding the best person for this job, who will be successful and satisfied in the role. If you believe you are that person, we encourage you to apply, even if you do not meet every qualification listed below.

About Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington

Girl Scouts builds girls* of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Girls in grades K–12 try new things, take on challenges, and discover what they're capable of. They explore STEM, camp under the stars, run their own cookie businesses, and lead projects that make their communities kinder. Along the way, they find friends who cheer them on and a place where they can truly be themselves.

Across Oregon and Southwest Washington, girls join the fun in troops, at camp, at local events, and on their own, guided by dedicated adult volunteers. Our staff make that possible. We support volunteers, create programs, run camps, and keep the council running so every girl has a place to belong.

Our culture and values guide how we work together to deliver on our mission:

We're building a workplace where everyone can contribute, grow, and belong, and everyone on our team helps create it through ongoing learning, reflection, and action.

*We use the word "girl" expansively and welcome all youth from kindergarten through 12th grade who see our girl-centered leadership experience as the right fit for them.

Equal Opportunity

Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington is an equal opportunity employer. If you need an accommodation at any point in the hiring process, please contact HR@gsosw.org .
