THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Manager, Client Partnership to join the growing team supporting our public affairs, corporate communications reputation management work. This role is designed for someone who thrives in managing integrated communications initiatives and helping clients navigate complex stakeholder, policy, reputational, and public affairs environments. As a Manager, Client Partnership, you will partner closely with clients and cross-functional teams to support the development and execution of strategic communications campaigns, stakeholder engagement initiatives, media relations efforts, and public affairs programs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Identifies, evaluates, recruits, and manages influencers and content aligned with client objectives, target audiences, campaign strategies, and brand values
- Oversees influencer campaign execution, including outreach, briefing, content review, approvals, performance tracking, reporting, and ongoing relationship management
- Supports the development and execution of integrated social media campaigns that align with client objectives and broader communications strategies
- Understands clients' individual motivations, needs and strengths; understands clients' team dynamics, including internal stakeholders and partner agencies
- Manages projects related to the development of integrated, multi-channel communications and public affairs strategies that align business objectives with policy, reputational, and stakeholder priorities, adapting quickly as needs arise
- Serves as a trusted counselor to client contacts on communications strategy, stakeholder dynamics, risk mitigation, and public affairs opportunities
- Oversees the creation of high-quality, client-ready deliverables, including messaging frameworks, talking points, briefing materials, executive communications, media materials, and campaign plans
- Effectively manages several projects simultaneously from initiation to completion while ensuring strategic alignment and high-quality execution across deliverables
- Helps translate complex legislative, regulatory, and policy issues into clear, compelling narratives and messaging for policymakers, stakeholders, media, and public audiences
- Leads internal team through internal status meetings and project kick-off meetings
- Collaborates cross-functionally with digital, creative, paid media, research, and earned media teams to deliver cohesive, insight-driven campaigns
- Reviews first drafts from team and provides actionable feedback, revisions or suggestions for cross-functional collaboration to improve upon deliverable; ensures deliverable is in a client-ready state for account leadership to review
- With input from team, in collaboration with finance, and based upon project budgets, prepares final billing /budget trackers/invoices for account leadership review and approval
- Anticipates needs and next steps on projects, initiating them in concert with account leadership
- Gains and maintains deep understanding of the macro industry associated with a client account and how it relates to fulfilling purpose-driven work
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Fulfills responsibilities and role of an Associate as situations arise, while proactively seeking staffing solutions to delegate Associate-level work
- Understands connections between projects and the macro scope of work, proactively identifying opportunities for collaboration and integration across projects and functions
- With input from team, prepares final draft proposals/scopes of work based on solid understanding of the assignment and cross-functional team collaboration; collaborates with Project Management to ensure budget estimates align with proposal
- Supports net new business efforts as requested by leadership
- Maintains intermediate knowledge of marketing and technology tools, with a focus on artificial intelligence and large language models such as ChatGPT and Claude.
Additionally, the ideal candidate meets these qualifications:
- 4-6 years of experience in communications, public relations, public affairs, journalism, marketing, consulting, government relations, or a related field
- Experience planning and executing integrated communications campaigns
- Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills
- Comfort and proven experience effectively using artificial intelligence and large language models such as ChatGPT and Claude in day-to-day work.
- Experience with media relations, strategic communications, or public affairs initiatives preferred
- Willingness and availability to travel periodically
The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The final agreed upon compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including but not limited to: candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experiences and may fall outside the range shown. - Expected Compensation Range: $70,000-$100,000

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK CONDITIONS
The physical activity required of this position includes standing, walking, lifting, pulling, pushing, kneeling, reaching, stooping, talking, hearing and use of repetitive motion. Light work is required of this position, occasionally lifting or moving objects between 10-20 pounds. The visual acuity of this position requires the ability to operate a motor vehicle. This position will not be substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
