Position Summary

The Assistant Project Manager / Project Engineer provides critical administrative and operational support to the project management team throughout the lifecycle of civil construction projects. This position is responsible for project documentation, submittal management, scheduling support, procurement coordination, subcontractor communication, and material delivery tracking to help ensure projects are executed efficiently and successfully.

This role serves as a key liaison between project managers, field operations, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction environment.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

This position is primarily office-based and requires frequent computer use, document review, and communication with project stakeholders. Occasional visits to project sites may be required to support project coordination activities. Site visits may involve walking on uneven terrain and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
