The opportunity

As a Senior Designer + Review Lead at Knock inc., you will champion and protect our client’s brand integrity across all channels. In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse group of cross-functional experts—including Designers, Copywriters, Account Leaders, and Project Managers to ensure all creative solutions align perfectly with the client’s core brand standards. We are looking for an experienced creative leader (available for freelance or full-time placement) with exceptional brand experience, a meticulous eye for detail, and a proven track record of translating abstract brand values into impactful, consistent, and finished products.

Please note that this client operates in the Pacific Time Zone.

Relevant professional experience will be a considering factor in our final selection.

Your skills

• A firm grasp of core brand values, visual identity, voice, and messaging and campaign framework

• The ability to clearly articulate brand standards and train diverse teams on proper asset and guideline usage

• Meticulously review creative assets, campaigns, and communications to prevent "brand drift" or inconsistent messaging

• Oversee asset deployment, utilizing centralized digital libraries, and participating in approval processes while avoiding operational bottlenecks

• Demonstrated skill of creative concepting and innovation

• Strong understanding and experience with Adobe Creative Suite

• Experience presenting work to clients and engaging in dialogue

• Comfortable delivering a strong point of view and defending creative concepts

• Demonstrated attention to detail in own work and when reviewing team’s work

• Demonstrated effective time management and delegation

• Communication skills within a multidisciplinary team

• Ability to learn new processes and optimize based on team and client experiences

A Bonus

• Experience with large brands using robust, well-established brand and promotional guidelines

• Experience working on large, multifaceted, omni-channel promotional or marketing campaigns

• Experience using Figma

• Immerse yourself in a singular brand and team to gain familiarity with the work and your collaborators

• Multi-disciplinary onboarding for Knock's current capabilities and systems, as well as your dedicated brand's digital programs

• Gain an understanding of brand guidelines, file building and QA expectations

Within six months, you’ll…

• Guide a cross-functional group of creatives to bring visuals to life following brand standards

• Collaborate with creative director, voice team, account, and project management to set the tone for projects

• Present your work and engage in productive dialogue with internal team and client

• Collaborate cross-functionally, communicating with internal employees with an established brand knowledge

• Partner with leadership to develop your goals and career path

Within one year, you’ll…

• Be the go-to for creative solutions and brand standards for all client initiatives. You will be able to synthesize the ask and provide innovative and working solutions for the client

• Receive relevant feedback from leadership and peers

• Lead creative work with a team and client
