Employment Coordinator

Location: Louisiana – Regional Assignment (North, Central, or South Louisiana)
Client: Louisiana National Guard (LANG) – Work for Warriors Louisiana (W4WLA)
Employment Type: Full-Time | 40 Hours per Week
Work Schedule: Generally Tuesday–Friday, between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM CST; weekend drill and training support required
Work Arrangement: Regional/Onsite with travel; telework may be authorized with prior Government approval
Travel: Frequent regional and statewide travel required; occasional out-of-state and overnight travel may be necessary

Position Overview

Crossroads Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Employment Coordinator to support the Louisiana National Guard's Work for Warriors Louisiana (W4WLA) Employment Outreach Program . The Employment Coordinator will provide employment outreach, career-development assistance, and workforce networking services to Louisiana Service Members, veterans, and eligible family members.

This position is regionally focused and requires the Employment Coordinator to develop relationships with employers, community organizations, educational institutions, military units, and other employment partners to connect qualified individuals with meaningful, long-term employment opportunities.

The Employment Coordinator will work directly with clients to assess employment needs, provide career counseling, assist with resumes and interviewing, identify appropriate employment opportunities, and support individuals transitioning from military service into the civilian workforce.

Work Schedule and Travel Requirements

The position supports services generally between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM Central Standard Time, Tuesday through Friday . Employment Coordinators must also be available to provide services during designated military drill weekends and training periods.

Employees may flex their schedules to remain within a 40-hour workweek when weekend support is required.

Travel is an essential component of the position. Employment Coordinators will travel to Louisiana National Guard facilities, military units, businesses, employer locations, networking events, customer meetings, hiring events, and leadership-directed meetings. Travel will primarily occur within the employee's assigned region, although statewide, out-of-state, and occasional overnight travel may be required.

Telework may be permitted with prior approval from the Government's Contracting Officer Representative (COR).
