Local Class A CDL Truck Driver | Intermodal Division

We are seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers for a local intermodal account running out of our yard in Bell Gardens, CA. Enjoy predictable schedules, daily home time, competitive pay, and comprehensive full-time benefits.

This is a slip-seat position running a 5-day workweek with a mixture of preloads and live freight. Optional extra workdays are available for drivers looking to boost their earnings.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Transport local intermodal freight safely throughout the Inland Empire and Greater Los Angeles areas.
• Pull routes out of 5 core rail/freight ramps: Long Beach, Los Angeles, Commerce, City of Industry, and Bloomington.
• Perform regional runs up North through the Grapevine (Shafter and Lebec areas).
• Complete a mix of drop-and-hook and live loading/unloading maneuvers ( 100% No-Touch Freight ).
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintain accurate electronic logs (ELD), and report equipment issues promptly.
• Park and slip-seat trucks at the Bell Gardens yard at the end of each shift.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 6 months of verifiable Class A CDL tractor-trailer experience within the last 3 years.
• Licensing: Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Location: Must reside within 25 miles of Bell Gardens, CA.
• Drug & Alcohol Policy: Must have a clean Clearinghouse record (No active or completed SAP drivers).
• Background & Safety: Accidents, traffic violations, and criminal history are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Benefits & Compensation

• Weekly Earnings: Average $1,400 – $1,800/week (Paid at $19.25/hr + $18.71 per stop).
