We’re hiring a Shop Technician (Pre-Delivery Inspector) at our retail facility in Waxahachie, TX, and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work. Mechanics will have the opportunity to work on the newest fleet in the industry.

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and offers overtime pay after working 40 hours. Must work one Saturday every 5 weeks from 8 AM to 2 PM.

Primary Responsibilities

As a Shop Technician (Pre-Delivery Inspector) , you will inspect new construction and agriculture assets to ensure they are ready for customer possession. Assemble lawnmowers and agriculture and construction attachments. Light mechanic work may be involved. You will assist only in picking up and delivering lawnmowers. This role will not involve diagnostic work, tracking work orders, or monitoring service intervals. Other assignments as needed.

• Practice safe job practices for repairing equipment

• Use technology (laptops and tablets) comfortably

•

Agricultural machinery, tractors, and heavy construction equipment.

• Inspect and assemble equipment to prepare it for retail sale, requiring a strong level of independent judgment.

• Maintain paperwork/electronic documentation of work performed (work orders) in a complete and timely manner on a daily basis

• Assist with pick-up and delivery of lawnmowers

• Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements (preferred)

• Year-round company provided OEM training

• Occasional oil changes

• Other duties, assigned as needed

Skills & Qualifications

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must own tools applicable to position

• Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools

• Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma, Trade school certificate preferred

• Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend freely

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times

• This is a safety sensitive position and any offer of employment will be contingent on passing a 10 panel drug screen
