POSITION SUMMARY DESCRIPTION

Controls engineer who, with guidance from the VP Engineering and Senior Electrical Engineering staff, designs control systems, develops panel layouts and wiring schematics, PLC, PC and/or HMI programs, power diagrams and calculations.

With the guidance of the VP Engineering and Senior Electrical Engineering staff, is responsible for designing and estimating unit load conveyor and storage systems and overseeing the installation and turnover of those systems by execution of the following:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

ADDITIONAL / PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

SCADA software

Bar code scanners

Network systems

Warehouse Control System (WCS) and Warehouse Management System (WMS)

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Up to approximately 50% of the time, this position is confined to ambient room temperatures and lighting as found in a typical office environment.

The performance of this position otherwise requires exposure to extreme increased or decreased temperatures as routinely found in manufacturing and distribution environments.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Travel as required to support Company needs, 50% up to approximately 75%, typically within the contiguous 48 states.
