• Baylor Scott & White Clinic – Georgetown is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to join our collaborative Urgent Care team. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate, experienced APP who values work-life balance, predictable scheduling, strong team support, and meaningful patient relationships.

• Clinic Hours
• Monday–Friday: 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

• Saturday–Sunday: 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

• The Opportunity
• As a Physician Assistant in Urgent Care, you will evaluate and treat adult patients with a broad range of acute illnesses and injuries. You'll have the opportunity to practice evidence-based medicine while working closely with physicians and an experienced multidisciplinary team.
• Your responsibilities will include:
• Performing comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations

• Evaluating and diagnosing acute illnesses and injuries

• Ordering and interpreting laboratory and diagnostic testing

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans

• Prescribing medications and recommending appropriate therapies

• Performing procedures within your scope of practice and clinical privileges

• Educating patients and families about diagnoses, medications, treatment, and prevention

• Coordinating referrals and consultation when appropriate

• Maintaining accurate medical records

• Collaborating with physicians and other members of the care team

• Preferred experience: At least one year of relevant APP experience.

• QUALIFICATIONS
• EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program
• EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience
• CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION -
• Physician Assistants (PA)

Basic Life Support (BLS): Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transfer.
