Job Description:
Utilizes advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision making skills, works independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. Provides health care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. They may care for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted in age-related category and area of expertise.

INTERNAL MEDICINE - ASHLAND, WI
- PRACTICE SPECIFICS:
- The opportunity to work with a collaborative, supportive team which offers 1:1 mentoring
- Work alongside a dedicated team of APPs, physicians, clinical assistants, and registered nurses
- Provide comprehensive outpatient internal medicine care, including evaluation and management of acute illnesses, chronic disease management, preventive care, health maintenance, and routine follow-up visits.
- Develop long-term relationships with patients while coordinating care with specialists and other members of the healthcare team
- Practice in a state-of-the-art medical clinic attached to Ashland Hospital and the Northwest Wisconsin Cancer Center.

- ANTICIPATED SCHEDULE:
- Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
- Estimated patient volume: 14 - 16 patients per day once fully trained
- 1.0 FTE
- Ashland, WI

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
NP:
Current licensure as a registered nurse in appropriate state.
Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in appropriate state.
Current certification in CPR.
National certification in applicable area.
Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice
PA:
Current licensure as a physician assistant in appropriate state.
Current certification in CPR.
National certification.
Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice
