Security Officer - On Site

About the job

Receives general direction from the Security Manager, Supervisor or Lead Security Officer. Performs a variety of security responsibilities to protect patients, visitors, caregivers, property and facilities from accidents, bodily harm, fire, theft, vandalism, hazardous materials, and illegal entry. Enforces Providence St Joseph Health, facility and security policies and regulations. Investigate reports of potential criminal conduct against PSJH caregivers, visitors, and property; responds and assists in restraining disruptive/combative individuals; detains individuals when necessary; provides protective services to high-risk areas; and performs reception services. May be required to support any Providence St Joseph Health or affiliated organization in emergent situations in the local service area.
