The Associate Administrative Officer is a key contributor on the Pod 3 Research Administration team in the School of Medicine Basic Sciences. This position provides advanced financial and administrative leadership for assigned departments and research portfolios. The role independently manages complex financial activities, advises faculty and departmental leadership, supports procurement and research administration processes, and coordinates solutions across institutional partners.

The position is expected to identify risks, resolve issues, and improve business practices while ensuring responsible stewardship of university and sponsored resources. This position requires the exercise of independent judgment, initiative, and decision-making authority relative to departmental finance and operations.
