The Chemical Management Specialist, Research is part of the Institute of Chemical Biology at Vanderbilt University and will provide organizational and operational support of compound management within the High-Throughput Screening (HTS) core and in collaboration with the Molecular Design and Synthesis Center (MDSC) core as needed. This position will be primarily responsible for providing compound management support for HTS staff and research groups within Vanderbilt and VUMC. Reporting directly to the HTS core director on a weekly basis and to the institute director monthly.

This position requires management and oversight of multiple instruments and core operations, including software management and troubleshooting. The research specialist is expected to support compound distribution needs of multiple screening and assay programs.
