The Mechanical Engineer II is responsible for developing high-quality, market-differentiated luminaire designs from concept through production. This role designs configurable product families that balance quality, performance, cost effectiveness, and ease of assembly, installation, and maintenance. Responsibilities include creating CAD models and engineering drawings, evaluating design changes, analyzing historical engineering data, and developing technical communication materials. The position collaborates with engineering, product management, marketing, and cross-functional teams to support new product development, custom solutions, problem-solving activities, and special projects while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
