THE ROLE
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director, Proprietary Events to lead Advancing AI, AMD's global flagship conference, and oversee AMD's broader portfolio of proprietary events.

The successful candidate will serve as the event owner for Advancing AI and lead three portfolio owners responsible for the regional and developer, executive and internal, and strategic Business Unit event portfolios. They will establish direction across these programs, recommend where AMD should invest or evolve its events, and work with internal teams and agency partners to deliver experiences that meet audience and business goals.

THE PERSON

You have a strong track record of leading complex, high-visibility events and portfolios, building alignment across diverse stakeholder groups, and translating business priorities into exceptional audience experiences. You thrive in fast-paced, highly matrixed environments and bring a balance of strategic thinking, operational excellence, financial acumen, and people leadership. You are equally comfortable setting long-term vision, influencing senior stakeholders, and ensuring flawless execution.
