Our client, a hospitality ownership group, is seeking an experienced Sales Manager for one of its boutique lifestyle hotels in Atlanta.

This role will focus on driving small group and event business , including room blocks of approximately 10 guestrooms or fewer, as well as catering and event business without a guestrooms component. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing new business, growing existing accounts, and building strong relationships across a variety of market segments.

This is a highly client-facing role for a proactive, relationship-driven hotel sales professional who enjoys prospecting, conducting site tours, entertaining clients, and converting opportunities into guestrooms, event space, and food & beverage revenue.

· Proactively identify, prospect, solicit, and secure new small group, catering, and event business across multiple market segments.
· Develop and grow existing accounts while building long-term client relationships and repeat business.
· Sell small room blocks, event space, catering, and food & beverage opportunities, including events that do not require guestrooms.
· Manage the sales process from initial inquiry and qualification through proposals, negotiation, contracting, and turnover.
· Serve as a highly visible, client-facing representative of the hotel, developing relationships with corporate clients, event planners, entertainment and production contacts, local organizations, and other business partners.
· Conduct property tours and site inspections for prospective clients, planners, and event partners.
· Create customized proposals and agreements designed to convert business while maximizing revenue opportunities.
· Develop strategic prospecting initiatives to generate new accounts and achieve individual and property revenue goals.
· Identify new opportunities through networking, market research, referrals, local relationships, and industry connections.
· Maintain an active pipeline and accurate account, activity, forecasting, and production information within the hotel’s sales systems.
· Monitor market trends and competitive activity to identify new revenue opportunities.
· Partner closely with the Sales & Events Manager and property leadership to ensure a seamless transition from sales through event execution.
· Collaborate with operations, revenue management, and food & beverage teams to maximize revenue and deliver an exceptional client experience.
· Represent the hotel at networking events, industry functions, community events, and client-facing activities.
· Participate in sales strategy meetings and contribute to property sales planning and forecasting.
· Maintain flexibility to attend occasional evening, weekend, and client events as business needs require.

Qualifications:
· Previous hotel sales experience, ideally within a boutique, lifestyle, independent, or full-service hotel environment.
· Experience selling small group rooms, catering, events, business transient, entertainment, or related hotel sales segments.
· Proven ability to prospect for new business while developing and growing existing accounts.
· Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills with a naturally client-focused approach.
· Comfortable conducting site tours, entertaining clients, presenting proposals, and developing relationships with a wide range of customers and business partners.
· Knowledge of the Atlanta hospitality, corporate, entertainment, and events market is highly desirable.
· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts, leads, and priorities.
· Experience with hotel sales, CRM, and property-management systems.
· Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest and client experiences.
