RESPONSIBILITIES :

Must follow, state, and federal guidelines concerning safety and environmental protection. Proper use of PPE conforming to Level C (general) & Level A (packaging room) standards is required. Mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) include a minimum of a hard hat, safety glasses or goggles, hearing protection devices, steeled-toed footwear, gloves (hand protection), long pants and long-sleeve shirt. Additional PPE may include respirators, smocks, coveralls, hair/beard nets, and/or masks as required by the GMP Policy. The employee must be capable of operating forklifts, carts, and specific packaging machinery, grasping, pushing and pulling up to a maximum of 75 pounds and are able to lift 55 lbs. It is also necessary to tilt and roll 220-pound drums on and off pallets. Visual acuity requirements include normal depth perception and 20/30 vision with or without correction.
