This role is located in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and relationship-oriented Sales Consultant to help drive growth within the residential and light commercial construction markets . In this role, you will develop new business opportunities while building and maintaining strong partnerships with builders, contractors, developers, and other industry professionals.
The ideal candidate enjoys connecting with customers, identifying solutions, and cultivating long-term business relationships. You will spend time both in the field and in office settings meeting with customers, visiting job sites, and supporting projects from initial conversation through completion.
- Your Role:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned markets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, general contractors, remodelers, property managers, and other industry professionals.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, jobsite visits, referrals, and strategic prospecting efforts.
- Maintain a high level of daily sales activity, including face-to-face customer meetings, job site visits, office appointments, and prospecting calls.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospect identification and initial contact through project completion and customer retention.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by providing product expertise, recommending solutions, and identifying opportunities to create value for customers.
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales growth objectives.
- Inspect job sites during the sales process, identify potential safety concerns, and communicate company safety expectations and programs to customers.
- Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, accountability, and commitment to driving business growth.
- Travel Requirements:
- Local travel within the assigned market is expected.
- Approximately 50% of time will be spent traveling to customer locations, job sites, and business meetings by car.
- A car allowance is provided.
- Schedule:
- Monday through Friday schedule.
- Occasional evening and weekend availability may be needed to support customer and business needs.
- What You Bring to the Team:
- 1-3 years of sales experience within the building products, construction, or related industries, preferably calling on residential or commercial builders, contractors, or developers.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license required if operating a vehicle for company business purposes.
- This is a safety sensitive position
- Ability to work safely and maintain awareness in active construction and jobsite environments.
- High school diploma or GED required.

Physical Requirements:
This role requires prolonged standing and repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling. Role also requires good hand-eye coordination, hand dexterity, and physical strength. The position involves lifting up to 50 pounds, depending on the specific job duties.

Compensation Range
$30,000.00 - $250,000.00
