Job Title:
Field Support Specialist _ Division of Information Systems

Job Summary:
Provides support of the installation and configuration of the end user computing environment, which consists primarily of user workstations (desktop and laptop), printers, and mobile devices. Responsible for providing tier 2 support of the end user computing environment. Responsible for asset management of the end user devices. Supports facility coordination associated with adds/moves/changes of end user devices. Insures that standard operating procedures and documentation are developed and maintained so that utilization of the end user devices and user productivity are maximized; confers with and advises subordinates on policies and procedures.

Degree (Associate's or Bachelor's)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of the end user computer environment. Technical aptitude and project management skills. Troubleshooting, analytical, and problem resolution skills. Verbal and written communication skills. Interpersonal and customer service skills. Organizational skills. Ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.
