The Regional Sales Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth for Logistics and Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) together with Key Account Managers (KAMs) and Account Managers (AMs) within the region.
The role combines strategic market development, solution selling, and product competence to grow Wallenius Wilhelmsen's business. As the regional product expert, you will shape complex solutions and acts as a trusted advisor to both internal stakeholders and external global customers.
What You'll Do:
Strategic Growth & Opportunity Lead: Generates new leads to develop Logistics/SCS opportunity pipeline within the region, ensuring full visibility, prioritization, and alignment with operational capacity.
Trusted Advisor (Customer-Facing): Build high-level trust with customers by shaping solutions that directly solve their supply chain pain points. Act as a consultant-partner to influence decision-makers through data-driven insights.
Internal Orchestration: For solution development orchestrates AMs, Customer Success (CSM), and Business Units across regions, ensuring a seamless "one-face-to-customer" approach.
Market Intelligence: Map the competitive and customer landscape and articulate the unique value proposition of our LS and SCS products. Identify upselling and cross-selling initiatives to grow revenue and exceed revenue targets.
Solution Design: Collaborate with key stakeholders within company and with customer to design integrated supply chain solutions that balance P&L requirements with long-term strategic objectives.
What You'll Do:
•5–10 years of experience in supply chain management and general sales, with a proven track record in multi-product solution selling
•Subject Matter Expertise: In-depth knowledge of global logistics, SCS business models, and integrated supply chain design.
•Demonstrates strong customer insight to understand value drivers and WalWil impact on business
•Demonstrated analytical skills and capability to take conclusions out of data
•Structured ways of working and presentation. Attention to detail and focus on quality.
•Commercial Acumen: Strong "deal-making" instinct with extensive experience in complex B2B negotiations and global tender processes.
•Analytical Proficiency: Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret complex logistics data for forecasting and KPI management.
•Leadership & Agility: A proactive, entrepreneurial approach with the ability to navigate ambiguity and influence stakeholders directly and indirectly.
•Mobility: Willingness to travel internationally to engage with global stakeholders and customers.
