About the job

Position Summary...
At Walmart, we’re building the future of omnichannel retail by creating products, services, and experiences that make shopping easier, faster, and more valuable for millions of customers.

As Group Director, Product, Services, Buy-in-Store & Local Marketing, you will lead the marketing strategy for a diverse portfolio of customer propositions across Walmart’s physical and digital ecosystem. From the Walmart app and emerging products and services to fulfillment propositions, service offerings, local marketing, and experiences that help customers discover and buy in store, this leader will shape how customers understand, adopt, and engage with some of Walmart’s most important capabilities.

This leader will serve as the strategic bridge between the customer, business, product, operations, and Marketing, translating complex capabilities into compelling customer propositions and integrated go-to-market strategies. The role will influence products and services upstream through customer and market insight, lead commercialization and launch, and drive sustained adoption and growth throughout the lifecycle.

The Group Director will also connect a broad portfolio of products and services into a cohesive customer story, ensuring Walmart communicates not simply individual features, but the collective value of shopping Walmart across stores, digital experiences, and emerging services.

Leading a large, multi-disciplinary marketing organization, this role will operate with significant autonomy and executive visibility, partnering across Product, eCommerce, Store Operations, Merchandising, Technology, Strategy, Insights, and Marketing. Success requires a customer-obsessed, commercially minded leader who can move fluidly between enterprise strategy, product innovation, go-to-market execution, growth, and organizational leadership.

What Success Looks Like

This leader will create a more connected approach to how Walmart develops, positions, launches, and grows the products and services that define the modern Walmart customer experience.

Success will be reflected in stronger customer understanding and adoption of Walmart's products and services; clear, differentiated propositions across the portfolio; faster and more disciplined commercialization of emerging capabilities; increased engagement and sustained usage beyond initial launch; stronger connectivity across store, digital, service, and fulfillment experiences; more effective in-store and locally relevant marketing; and a high-performing organization capable of shaping what Walmart builds, not simply marketing it after it is built.

At Walmart, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet. Health benefits include medical, vision and dental coverage. Financial benefits include 401(k), stock purchase and company-paid life insurance. Paid time off benefits include PTO (including sick leave), parental leave, family care leave, bereavement, jury duty, and voting. Other benefits include short-term and long-term disability, company discounts, Military Leave Pay, adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement, and more.

You will also receive PTO and/or PPTO that can be used for vacation, sick leave, holidays, or other purposes. The amount you receive depends on your job classification and length of employment. It will meet or exceed the requirements of paid sick leave laws, where applicable.

For information about PTO, see https://one.walmart.com/notices .

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms.
