• Production Associate | Day Shift
• Starting Pay: $20.55/hour + Day Shift Premium
• Shift: 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Location: Owatonna, MN
• Viracon is continuously hiring Entry Level Production Associates to join our day shift team in Owatonna, MN.
• No prior manufacturing experience is required. We provide training and opportunities to grow into a long term career with Viracon.
• What You’ll Do
• Set up workstations and prepare materials
• Load and unload materials
• Cut and assemble glass products
• Inspect products for quality
• Follow safety and production procedures
• Work as part of a team in a fast paced manufacturing environment
• What We’re Looking For
• No prior manufacturing experience is required. We are looking for candidates who are:
• Dependable and reliable
• Available to work 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Able to follow instructions and safety procedures
• Comfortable standing for extended periods
• Able to safely lift 50 to 60 lbs regularly
• Comfortable working in a fast paced manufacturing environment
• Hiring Requirements
• To be considered for direct hire, candidates must meet at least one of the following:
• At least 6 months of continuous employment with one employer within the past 3 years. One year is preferred. Manufacturing experience is preferred.
• At least 6 months of college, technical, or vocational education completed within the past 12 months
• Military service within the past 5 years with an honorable discharge
• High school diploma or equivalent obtained within the past 12 months
• Additional Requirements
• Must be able to pass a pre employment drug screening, including marijuana
• Must be able to safely lift 50 to 60 lbs on a regular basis
• Must be available to work the 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM day shift

• Requisitos de Contratación
• Para ser considerado para contratación directa, debe cumplir con al menos uno de los siguientes requisitos:
• Tener al menos 6 meses de empleo continuo con un solo empleador durante los últimos 3 años. Se prefiere un año. Se prefiere experiencia en manufactura.
