YOUR OPPORTUNITY
As a Market Manager, you will own the off-premise business across Metro New York, managing approximately 600 accounts with a focus on 50 priority accounts. You will partner with distributors and key retailers to deliver sales goals, execute customer strategies and business plans, and achieve KPI targets. You will gain exposure to different elements of the sales and marketing organization while building sustainable business opportunities across the market.

You are an important day-to-day face of Bacardi towards the distributors, customers, and agency partners (ambassadors or event staff) in your dedicated territory and will act as the key contact for those customers, driving new business and maintaining sustainable long-lasting relationships.

• RESPONSIBILITIES - WITH OUR CONSUMER AT THE HEART YOUR KEY FOCUS WILL BE
• Own the off-premise business across Metro New York, managing approximately 600 accounts with a focus on 50 priority accounts.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Bacardi resources and distributor partners to maximize performance, increase volume and build long-lasting business opportunities across the market and account universe.
• Collaborate with and influence distributor territory managers and sales consultants to execute local market priorities and plans.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with key customer accounts to create customer strategies and plans that translate into win-win scenarios through impactful presentations and evaluation of return on investment.
• Manage the market budget effectively and efficiently, making thoughtful financial decisions that increase profitability and demonstrate strong financial acumen across retail finances, pricing and logistics.
• Provide timely and accurate market and competitive brand updates to the commercial team, including changing field conditions that may affect volume and staffing changes at distributors and competitors.
• Serve as the leader of the market off-premise channel. Build the local market sales execution plan with the State Manager and Region Director, own sales targets and KPIs, and drive execution to achieve them.
• Engage with new and existing customers to capitalize on business opportunities.
• Partner with accounts and serve as a business consultant to support account objectives.
• You will be based within the Metro New York area.

• SKILLS - THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED TO CREATE YOUR LEGACY
• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field required.
• Ideally, you have 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the spirits or beverage industry, and 2 years of off-premise or retail experience.
• You understand the off-premise retail business and the critical factors that drive and influence customer business decisions.
• You can lift and carry up to 40 pounds as required for market execution.
• By living a Founder's mentality, you are a leader and owner of your market who is passionate about driving business results.
• You are an influential communicator with strong written, verbal, interpersonal and presentation skills across all levels of an organization.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

The base salary for this position is $140,080.
