Job Summary:
Location: Methodist Hospital
Address: 8303 Dodge St, Omaha, NE

Work Schedule: Full Time (36 hours) Nights

Are you a new graduate or an experienced Med-Surg RN ready to take the next step in your nursing journey? Our Bridge to Higher Acuity II Program – PCU to ICU offers a supportive pathway to help you build the advanced skills and confidence needed to care for critically ill patients.

You’ll begin on the night shift in one of our Progressive Care Units (PCUs), where you'll strengthen your clinical judgment, sharpen critical thinking, and care for higher-acuity patients in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. With support from leadership and clinical educators, you’ll develop an individualized plan to bridge into the ICU as your skills and confidence grow.

Once fully trained in both areas, you will carry a dual role between the PCU and ICU—broadening your experience while supporting the evolving needs of the hospital and its patients.

This flexible program allows you to grow at your own pace while receiving ongoing mentorship and clinical guidance every step of the way.
