Position Overview:
This position is responsible for documenting prototype orders, recording steps and notes, and reporting results. The technician will utilize strong analytical and problem-solving skills. In addition, the position executes and completes independent projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- High School/GED required; Associates degree preferred.
- Excellent communications skills, both oral and written with peers and management.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to self-check work.
- Proficient in technical writing and ability to clearly express ideas and suggestions.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, task orientated, ability to prioritize.
- Works well in a team environment.
- A strong self-starter who demonstrates personal initiative to complete assignments on a timely basis
- High level of computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Key Responsibilities:
- Highlight and elevate systemic issues with prototype and R&D jobs.
- Update and maintain project tracking tools.
- Enter work orders into documentation system.
- Assist with work order routing and subassembly planning and tracking.
- Maintain latest part ID and quantities by working with Supervisor, Leads, and Supply Chain.
- Issue requests for material, engraving programs, overlay creation/accuracy as required.
Other Important Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all equipment parameters, recipes, etc., along with key attributes of each operation are
- documented.
- Create sub-assembly work orders through ERP system.
- Gather, summarize, and report data.
- Communicate results and reports to team.
- Develop SOPs for various prototype operations.
- Timely Corrective Action response and resolution to relevant project situations.
- Engage and support companywide Safety and Cleanliness programs.
- As part of the EMS- Environment Management System, will meet compliance obligations and accountability by
- contributing but not limited to the company's recycling guidelines, proper waste, and other environmental
- performance practices.
- Will be required to perform other job functions, as assigned.

Pay Range
$53,800.00 - $80,800.00 Annual
Offers will be negotiated based on each candidate's qualifications.
Incentive Compensation
This role may be eligible to participate in our annual or quarterly incentive plan. Incentives are earned based on employee performance against defined metrics and company goals.
