Position Overview:
The Production Supervisor leads daily production operations in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and production targets are consistently achieved. This role drives a culture of continuous improvement through Lean Daily Management (LDM) practices while providing leadership and direction to department supervisors and support to production operators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate all production activities during assigned shift
- Ensure daily production schedules are met while maintaining safety, quality, and efficient standards.
- Monitor workflow, adjust staffing as needed, and escalate issues that impact performance to the Production Manager.
- Facilitate daily tier meetings (Tier 1/Tier2) to review KPIs, identify issues, and assign countermeasures
- Maintain visual management boards, ensuring data is accurate, current, and actionable.
- Supervise and mentor production associates to build a high-performing team
- Address and resolve employee relation issues with support of Human Resources Business Partners.
- Provide clear direction, coaching, and support to team members to ensure strong performance and engagement
- Conduct performance feedback, support skill development, and promote cross-training
- Lead quarterly performance reviews by coaching department supervisors and partnering with them throughout the process
Physical qualifications and work environment:
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs;
- Must be able to sustain office work as needed including the following: • Sitting in an office chair
- Reaching for the telephone
- Standing at office equipment
- Hearing for phone use
- Sight for computer use
- Must be able to sustain factory work for 8+ hours per day including the following: • Standing at machinery
- Reaching and pulling to operate machinery
- Sight for machinery operation
- Walking through shop
- Office environment is of moderate noise level.
- Shop noise levels are such that protective ear-coverings are recommended.
Other Important Responsibilities:
- Ensure adherence to all safety protocols and PCI requirements
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe work environment built on trust, accountability, and respect
- Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams to resolve operational challenges.
- Provide clear shift handoffs, documenting issues, downtime, and improvement actions
- Transact real time/accurate data in Labor Capture
- Understand our Atlas/Power BI Systems to review backlog/WIP reports, desired ship dates, and yield percentages
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or production environment; supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communicator with natural problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive corrective actions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or related methodologies is a plus

Pay Range
$80,000.00 - $127,900.00 Annual
Offers will be negotiated based on each candidate's qualifications.
Incentive Compensation
This role may be eligible to participate in our annual or quarterly incentive plan. Incentives are earned based on employee performance against defined metrics and company goals.
