Senior Vice President, Global Sales & Customer Experience

We are seeking a Senior Vice President, Global Sales & Customer Experience to join our executive leadership team and shape how CyrusOne grows, serves customers and wins in the AI era. The successful candidate will lead our global commercial and customer experience organization across North America, Europe and Asia Pacific, spanning Sales Operations, Account Management, Strategic Account Sales, Business Development, New Logo Acquisition and Customer Care. They will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer and leaders across Development, Engineering, Operations, Finance and Legal to build a customer-centric, AI-enabled growth engine that consistently delivers sales targets and turns committed capital into profitable, long-duration revenue.

• What You Will Do:
• Drive Growth : Build and execute the global commercial plan to consistently deliver sales targets. Define priority customers, markets and campuses, balance expansion with new-logo growth, and align demand with available and planned capacity.
• Own the Customer Experience : Own the full customer lifecycle, from opportunity development and contracting through delivery, service, renewal and expansion. Lead the shift from transactional selling to holistic customer stewardship.
• Build a Class A Team: Assess and develop the leadership team, add new capabilities where needed and establish succession plans. Align the organization, coverage model and operating rhythms to CyrusOne's strategy.
• Modernize the Commercial Operating System: Establish disciplined sales processes, strategic account planning, pipeline reviews and reliable forecasting, with Salesforce as the trusted system of record.
• Lead AI-Enabled Transformation: Define and deliver the roadmap for embedding AI and automation into account intelligence, demand identification, forecasting, proposal development and customer communications.
• Close Complex Transactions: Lead large, long-cycle transactions, including build-to-suit and multi-phase campus commitments. Maintain discipline on pricing, contract structure, risk allocation and returns.
• Align the Enterprise: Partner with Development, Engineering, Construction, Operations, Asset Management, Legal and Finance so CyrusOne operates as one system and promises made are promises kept.
• Lead in the Market: Represent CyrusOne with strategic customers, partners, utilities, brokers, advisors and analysts. Turn market insight into customer strategy and capacity decisions, and report with credibility to the executive team, Board and investors.

What We Are Looking For:

• 12+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience, including leadership of a global or multi-regional sales organization
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience; advanced degree valued
• Proven success transforming a sales organization's structure, coverage, incentives and processes while sustaining bookings momentum
• Track record of moving teams from transactional selling to strategic account leadership, customer intimacy and proactive opportunity creation
• Leadership of sales or revenue operations, including Salesforce (or comparable CRM), forecasting, analytics and enablement
• Experience closing large, capital-intensive transactions with sophisticated buyers, with strong command of pricing, contract structure, risk and return
• Effectiveness in a matrixed organization, with credibility presenting to executive leadership teams, Boards and investors
• Must be able to travel extensively, including internationally

• Data center, cloud or digital infrastructure experience; exposure to hyperscale and large enterprise technology buyers is highly valued
• Demonstrated use of AI, automation and data to improve commercial productivity, customer insight and outcomes
• Experience leading in a private-equity or infrastructure-investor-backed environment
• A general manager's mindset and a leadership style grounded in integrity, grit, ownership and collaboration, building durable systems and future leaders rather than relying on individual heroics
