Sr Financial Analyst – Strategic Finance & Capital Planning

• Ecolab is seeking a highly motivated Senior Financial Analyst to support strategic finance activities across multiple business units and enterprise initiatives. This role will serve as a key business partner to finance leadership, providing financial planning, forecasting, CAPEX governance, reporting, and decision support for both ongoing operations and high-impact strategic projects.
• The ideal candidate combines strong financial and accounting acumen with analytical thinking, business partnership skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for senior leadership.
• What You Will Do:
• Capital Expenditure Management
• Own CAPEX forecasting, planning, tracking, and reporting processes.
• Partner with business leaders to evaluate capital investment requests and develop business cases.
• Monitor project spend against approved budgets and identify potential overspend risks.
• Ensure compliance with corporate capitalization policies and governance requirements.
• Analyze depreciation and asset impacts associated with new investments.
• Strategic Finance & Business Partnering
• Conduct scenario modeling and financial impact analysis to support executive decision-making.
• Partner with commercial, operations, digital, accounting, and FP&A teams on cross-functional projects.
• Provide financial guidance and recommendations to business stakeholders.
• Reporting & Analytics
• Develop and enhance executive dashboards, management reporting packages, and KPI reporting.
• Create presentations and leadership materials for senior management and executive reviews.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation, standardization, and process enhancements.
• Location Details:
• This position will be located in Greensboro, NC on a hybrid work schedule
• Candidate must reside within a commutable distance of Greensboro, NC
• Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 5 years of progressive finance, FP&A, accounting, or strategic finance experience

• Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint capabilities
• Experience partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
• The pay range for this position is $85,900.00 - $128,900.00. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
