Emerson Lakes by Erickson Senior Living Join our team as an Executive Assistant, a dynamic, driven professional who will play a critical role in the grand opening of Emerson Lakes, one of Erickson Senior Living’s most anticipated new communities in beautiful Lakewood Ranch, Florida. In this role you will be supporting the Executive Director of our Continuing Care Retirement Community. In this role, you will independently manage communications, correspondence, issue resolution, scheduling, travel arrangements, and resident/vendor requests.

Emerson Lakes will be a premier, state-of-the-art continuing care retirement community designed to serve more than 1,500 residents across Independent Living, Assisted Living, Skilled Nursing, and Memory Care. This gated community will feature an impressive array of amenities, including multiple restaurants, a stunning outdoor swimming pool, a cutting-edge fitness center, an onsite medical center, and much more.

• Compensation: commensurate with experience starting at $60,000.00 per year.

• How you will make an impact
• Answer and screen all incoming calls, emails, and voice mail for the Executive Director
• Greets residents and other walk-in visitors. Manage traffic flow and access to Executive Director, and provide direct assistance to walk-in visitors when appropriate
• Address and resolve various community/resident issues as appropriate, with minimal direction from the Executive Director. Escalate or refer issues to the appropriate person as needed.
• Acts as a liaison between Executive Director and personnel, outside companies, and residents
• Manage the calendar of the Executive Director, scheduling meetings and conferences, and handle shifting priorities and conflicts as they arise
• Process departmental mail and ensure that appropriate follow-up and prioritization occurs on all other correspondence
• Prepare and type the minutes of staff meetings and maintain intra- and inter-departmental communications.
• Gather, maintain, and send timesheets for all department personnel.
• Coordinate travel itineraries, including air and ground transportation and hotel accommodations
• Maintain files and data storage, set up conferences and meeting rooms as needed, and process expense reports.

• What you will need
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative office support.
