Associate Account Executive, Energy Efficiency (Hybrid Schedule)

Role and Scope of Position

In this position you will be responsible for identifying and advancing new opportunities from both inbound and outbound lead generation to Sales Qualified Lead (SQL) in the company’s three operating states. A successful candidate will possess a thorough understanding of the energy efficiency landscape to convey our value proposition to actively engage and guide key decision makers to the benefits of our programs.

The candidate will have two or more years of direct B2B phone sales in the energy/utility industry. Each candidate must be detail-oriented, able to prioritize projects in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and can function well as both a team player as well as an individual contributor.

The role is based in Westwood, MA.

• Essential Functions
• Outbound Sales: Make outbound calls to potential customers to introduce our energy efficiency solutions, generate interest, and schedule appointments
• Inbound Sales: Handle incoming calls, providing information, addressing questions, and scheduling appointments
• Outbound Call Target: Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual outbound call targets
• List Management and Development: Evaluating list quality researching customer information
• Product Knowledge: Maintain through knowledge of the company’s energy solutions to suggest appropriate solutions to prospects
• Reporting: Keep records of calls and note useful information in our CRM system (HubSpot)
• Collaborate with members of the marketing team on the execution of marketing plans and campaigns.
• Coordinates with internal team members and external contractors
• Participates in a continuous improvement-focused team to facilitate efficient departmental workflow processes.
• Tracks and maintains Sales Qualified Leads through the pipeline.
• Additional duties assigned as business needs dictate.

Essential Functions:

• Technical Knowledge/Skill:

• Proficient use of HubSpot CRM

• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Communications, or related field

• Experience :
• 2+ years direct experience B2B phone sales in the energy/utility industry.

• Working Conditions:
• Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required
• Must be available for travel between MA/CT/NH on an approximately monthly basis
• Must be available for occasional travel outside of the service area
• Hybrid Schedule: • Eversource supports work-life balance by offering hybrid schedules for certain roles. Eligibility is based on job responsibilities, operational needs, nature of work and team dynamics. Current guidelines require employees to work at least three days in the office, including Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with the third day set by the employee and supervisor based on department needs. These guidelines apply to roles approved for remote work and are subject to change, based on managerial discretion and work performance. All applicants must be able to work up to five days in the office if needed (for example: emergencies, training, or other business needs) or should the policy change.

$82,420.00-$91,580.00
