Job Summary:
Geisinger Medical Center (GMC) in Danville, Pennsylvania, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible, fellowship-trained Cornea Specialist to join our nationally recognized Department of Ophthalmology. This is an exceptional opportunity to become part of a well-established, collaborative practice comprised of multi-specialty ophthalmologists and optometrists serving a large regional referral network.
Job Duties:
The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for patients with corneal, external disease, and anterior segment disorders while contributing to the academic and clinical missions of Geisinger. Opportunities are available to develop innovative programs, participate in clinical research, and teach residents within a large tertiary referral center.

About the Department
Ophthalmologists at Geisinger possess the knowledge and professional expertise required to provide comprehensive eye and vision care. Physicians are responsible for diagnosing, monitoring, and medically or surgically treating ocular and visual disorders.

Education:
Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine- (Required)
