- What You'll Be Doing
- Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mobile equipment used in quarry and aggregate operations.
- Perform preventive maintenance on haul trucks, loaders, excavators, dozers, and other heavy equipment to maximize reliability.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and efficiently return machinery to safe operating condition.
- Complete maintenance records, work orders, and equipment inspections accurately and on time.
- Support safe work practices and collaborate with operations teams to maintain productivity and equipment performance.
- What Are We Looking For
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and diesel-powered mobile equipment systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the capability to identify root causes and implement effective repairs.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and equipment inspection procedures.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to established policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced quarry environment.
- Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
- Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
