Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
Are you passionate about animals and enjoy helping people? Join our team as a Small Animal Veterinary Teaching Hospital Assistant II! In this role, you'll be an important part of a busy veterinary hospital, helping clients, supporting veterinarians and students, and keeping daily operations running smoothly.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (some holiday shifts required)

• What You'll Do
• Greet clients and assist with check-in and appointment scheduling.
• Answer phones and respond to client questions.
• Coordinate patient visits and emergency appointments.
• Maintain and organize medical records.
• Assist with billing, payments, and client communications.
• Support doctors, students, and staff with administrative needs.
• Help keep the reception area organized and welcoming.

• Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior receptionist experience within a large or small animal clinic.
• Customer service experience in high-volume or fast-paced environments.
• Experience with payment processing, invoicing and/or bookkeeping.
• Familiarity with scheduling systems or client management software.
• Associate's degree or coursework in veterinary technology, animal science, or related field.
