OVERVIEW
Provides clinical nursing support for pulmonology patients, serving as a key resource and advocate throughout diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care. Coordinates services, provides patient and family education, supports smoking cessation and specialized treatments, and collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure patients receive comprehensive, coordinated care.

SCHEDULE: 32-hours per week, full-time

SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Language Skills
Has strong organizational skills and has the ability to produce effective verbal and written communication with proper grammar/spelling. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions as well as follow verbal instructions. Ability to perform clerical skills such as filing, phones and data entry.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to manage stress appropriately and make decisions under pressure. Manages anger/fear/hostility/violence of others appropriately. Handles multiple priorities and works well independently.

Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Processing software.
