Position Description: Summary

This position exists to administer scholarships and provide student support services to scholarship recipients that empower student success in alignment with donor intent. Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Scholarship Support, the Coordinator of Scholarship Support will be responsible for multiple high-profile, signature scholarship programs along with a variety of other foundation scholarships as needed.  The Coordinator will provide coaching and holistic student support to a caseload of scholars in addition to event planning, recruitment, and reporting. Supporting foundation scholarships implementation and administration is a cross-departmental collaboration which will involve working with a variety of campus partners as well as donors.

This position will provide education and outreach to students and staff regarding scholarship opportunities in collaboration with campus partners. The Coordinator will also support the C2Hub goal of 100% student career engagement by providing career coaching to scholarship recipients as well as assisting with overall C2Hub career initiatives.

Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Evenings and weekend work: As needed
Hybrid Position- This position is campus-based. Depending on the responsibilities of the role, operational needs, and office needs, there may be opportunities for flexibility or an alternative work arrangement. Such arrangements are subject to approval and may be adjusted based on evolving operational and business needs.

Salary for Announcement

Under Colorado law, MSU Denver is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role and should not offer a salary outside of the range posted in this job announcement. This range takes into account a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, analysis of internal equity, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience.

We anticipate the qualified candidate to be placed between $47,300-$56,000. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.

The above salary range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
