Overview:

Pay starting at $36.90/hr., Pay will Commensurate with Experience

Position can be anywhere from 24hrs-40hrs per week, open to multiple options

Can service up to 16 counties including Richland, Marion, Morrow, Know, Union, Delaware, Licking, Muskingum, Perry, Hocking, Fairfield, Franklin, Madison, Pickaway, Ross, and Fayette

Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of auto insurance is required by hospital policy. Must pass a motor vehicle background inspection, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications and training set forth by Nationwide Children’s Hospital and must maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.

Job Description Summary:

Coordinates and provides clinical care for patients transitioning to the home setting utilizing an Evidence-Based Practice approach. Practices professional nursing and promotes patient advocacy in accordance with the ANA Code of Ethics for Nurses.

Job Description:

Education Requirement:
BSN, or ADN with commitment to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.

Experience:
One year Pediatric and homecare experience, preferred.

Physical Requirements:
OCCASIONALLY: Bend/twist, Biohazard waste, Blood and/or Bodily Fluids, Chemicals/Medications, Climb stairs/ladder, Communicable Diseases and/or Pathogens, Depth perception, Driving motor vehicles (work required) *additional testing may be required, Electricity, Lifting / Carrying: 0-10 lbs, Lifting / Carrying: 11-20 lbs, Machinery, Patient Equipment, Pushing / Pulling: 0-25 lbs, Reaching above shoulder, Repetitive hand/arm use, Sitting, Squat/kneel
FREQUENTLY: Audible speech, Color vision, Peripheral vision, Standing, Walking
