Description of Work
The Outreach and Partnership Coordinator supports statewide immunization efforts within the Education, Outreach, and Communications Unit of the North Carolina Immunization Branch, by developing and implementing data‑informed statewide public health education and outreach strategies to improve immunization coverage. The role uses immunization and population data, community insights, and partner feedback to identify educational needs, inform outreach strategies, and build and strengthen partnerships.

The Coordinator collaborates with Immunization Branch staff and external partners to deliver immunization education, technical assistance, site visits, presentations, and outreach materials to providers and community organizations. A central function of the position is building and maintaining partnerships with traditional and nontraditional organizations and trusted messengers to expand the reach of immunization initiatives across the state. The position advances statewide communication and engagement strategies that strengthen immunization awareness and access.

Key Duties Include:

– Develop, cultivate, and maintain partnerships with immunization providers, community-based organizations, coalitions, advocacy organizations, trusted messengers, state agencies, and other stakeholders to advance immunization initiatives.

Recruitment Range: $57,983.00 - $79,726.00

Master's degree in Public Health Education or in Public Health with a major in public health education from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of experience in public health education
