Description of Work
Central Regional Hospital is currently recruiting for a Nurse Supervisor II to function as a Clinical Nurse Manager on AAU A2. The Clinical Nurse Manager has 24-hour responsibility for assuring the efficient and effective delivery of quality psychiatric and medical nursing care for first shift on AAU A2. Provides clinical oversight of professional, vocational nurses and Healthcare Technicians. Coordinates activities between defined areas, provides clinical-level input into treatment team and other clinical based decisions.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences
Salary Range: $77,076.00 - $127,175.00
Recruitment Range: $110,000.00 - $122,616.00

*A Sign-on bonus of $10,000 may be offered to the successful applicant(s) of this posting, contingent on budget approval.

Physical requirements will be discussed with the applicant during the interview process, but include the ability to kneel, walk up and down stairs, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

This is a full-time position and eligible for the full State benefits package. Normal work hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., however flexibility is required to meet hospital needs.

This Position Is Exempt And Is EXEMPT From Certain Provisions Of The State Human Resources Act (GS 126)

This Position Is Designated As Mandatory And Must Report Or Stay Over During Adverse Weather Events.

*Eligibility for Sign-on Bonus
To qualify for the Sign-on Bonus, a newly hired permanent full-time or permanent part-time employee must work 30 to 40 hours per week to be eligible. Those who are eligible and working less than 40 hours a week will receive a prorated rate.

Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina and three years of nursing experience, including one year of experience in a Nurse Supervisor capacity.
