Reporting to the Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer, the Director, Accounting Global Process Owner serves as the enterprise thought leader and primary point of accountability for global accounting process strategy, governance, and continuous improvement.

The Director shapes the long-term evolution of Nordson’s global accounting processes and controllership capabilities. This position establishes the vision, strategy, architecture, and governance required to create scalable, integrated, technology-enabled accounting processes that support business growth, operational effectiveness, regulatory compliance, and a strong internal control environment.

Operating across organizational, functional, and geographic boundaries, the Director advises senior finance leadership, anticipates emerging accounting and business challenges, and translates internal and external developments into enterprise strategies and innovative solutions. The position leads highly visible, multidisciplinary initiatives and influences senior leaders to align priorities, allocate resources, remove organizational barriers, and adopt new ways of working.

This is an enterprise professional leadership position. The Director achieves results primarily through strategic influence, subject matter leadership, governance, and cross-functional direction rather than direct managerial authority.
