The anticipated pay range is US $130k - $160k yr./ or CAD $185k - $225k The actual compensation offered may vary based on job related factors such as experience, skills, education and location.
Core Responsibilities -
We are looking for an SAP WM & EWM Manager to lead our warehouse management team and the SAP WM/EWM solutions that support Owens & Minor's distribution network. This role owns the people, delivery, and production support side of SAP warehouse management in our ECC environment, along with planning for future S/4HANA EWM.
The ideal candidate is an experienced people leader with a strong SAP WM background and solid EWM knowledge. You will manage a team of analysts and solution architects, own production support and project delivery, manage implementation partners, and work closely with warehouse operations to keep our distribution centers running.
- Roles & Responsibilities
- Build and lead a high-performing SAP WM/EWM team, owning hiring, goal setting, performance management, and career development.
- Own production support for SAP WM/EWM, making sure incidents and problems are resolved within SLA and ITSM processes are followed.
- Lead SAP WM/EWM implementations, rollouts, new site standups, upgrades, and enhancements from planning through go-live and hypercare.
- Partner with warehouse operations and business leaders to understand requirements, prioritize demand, and improve end-to-end warehouse processes.
- Oversee functional delivery across inbound, outbound, inventory, internal movements, RF, and automation processes, partnering with solution architects on design.
- Manage implementation partners and vendors, including SOWs, estimates, budgets, and partner performance.
- Manage delivery timelines, risks, issues, and dependencies, keeping IT and business leadership informed.
- Coordinate with SAP MM, SD, PP, QM, TM, and other cross-functional teams.
- Help shape the warehouse modernization roadmap, including evaluation of S/4HANA EWM.
- Drive process standardization, continuous improvement, and adoption of scalable SAP warehouse solutions.
- Key Expertise
- 10+ years of overall SAP experience with a strong SAP WM background.
- 6+ years of SAP WM/EWM experience across implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and support.
- 3+ years managing SAP teams with direct reports, including hiring, performance management, and team development.
- Experience owning production support for business-critical SAP applications, including SLAs and ITSM processes (ServiceNow preferred).
- Experience managing onshore/offshore teams and implementation partners, including SOWs and budgets.
- Strong SAP ECC WM experience. Experience with SAP S/4HANA Embedded or Decentralized EWM is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of inbound, outbound, putaway, picking, replenishment, staging, physical inventory, RF, and Handling Unit processes.
- Experience with batch management, lot and expiration date tracking (FEFO), and serial number processes.
- Healthcare or regulated distribution experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with EWM capabilities such as wave management, resource management, POSC/LOSC, Yard Management, and Quality Inspection integration.
- Experience integrating warehouse processes with MM, SD, PP, QM, TM, and third-party automation/WCS systems.
- Experience leading WM-to-EWM migration or warehouse transformation programs is preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- SAP EWM / S/4HANA EWM certification is preferred.
- Additional certifications in SAP WM, MM, Logistics Execution, Supply Chain, or Project Management are a plus.
- Or any combination of education and experience to meet the above requirements.
