Job Description:
This position may be filled as a Certified Medical Assistant Level 1 or 2, depending on individual experience, expertise, and qualifications.

Special Benefits:

OU Health Family Medicine Center is a collaborative, fast-paced academic primary care clinic serving patients of all ages in the Oklahoma City community. Our multidisciplinary team works together to provide compassionate, patient-centered care while supporting the education and development of future healthcare professionals.

Our clinic offers a dynamic environment that includes family medicine, pediatrics, senior care, sports medicine, behavioral health, and procedure-based services. Team members work alongside physicians, residents, nurses, advanced practice providers, and support staff dedicated to delivering high-quality care and an exceptional patient experience.
We are seeking motivated individuals who are adaptable, team-oriented, and passionate about making a meaningful impact in academic healthcare and the communities we serve.
The Certified Medical Assistant works alongside Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers to provide direct patient care according to state and federal guidelines. This position plays an important role in the ambulatory setting by not only performing clinical and administrative duties but also helping patients feel at ease and understanding provider instructions.

Minimum Requirements Certified Medical Assistant I:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program preferred.

Experience: 0-3 years of experience in Patient Care as a Medical Assistant or similar patient care role preferred.

Minimum Requirements Certified Medical Assistant II:

Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program preferred.

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Patient Care as a Medical Assistant or similar patient care role required.
