What You'll Do and Who We Are Looking For
This part-time casual position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and loves organizing logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Scan local calendars for relevant community fairs, festivals, and conferences, and navigate application or registration processes to secure tabling and event spaces.
- Set up, manage, and tear down informational booths at local community events, markets, or campus fairs.
- Engage directly with the public, answer basic questions, distribute flyers, and encourage community members to get involved with the organization's programs and initiatives.
- Monitor and respond to incoming inquiries via email, phone, or ticketing systems in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide accurate information regarding program guidelines, application steps, and exemption policies.
- Update student records specifically for the transportation exemption workflow.
- Download and process new applications, establishing a secure, organized system of digital files and tracking spreadsheets. Scheduling committee review sessions and preparing documentation packages for reviewers ahead of meetings.
- Perform comprehensive student progress audits at the beginning and end of each term.
- Other duties as assigned.
Primary Location: PCC Sylvania Campus

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act (Clery Act), you may view Portland Community College’s (PCC) most recent Annual Security Report (ASR) on the Department of Public Safety website. The ASR contains current security and safety-related policy disclosure statements, emergency preparedness and evacuation information, crime prevention and sexual assault prevention information and resources, and drug and alcohol prevention programming. The ASR also contains crime statistics for Clery Act crimes which occurred on PCC properties for the last three calendar years. Paper copies of the ASR are available upon request at all Department of Public Safety offices.
