The Behaviorist works with individuals with mental health disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and co-occurring disorders to develop, implement, and review Behavioral Support Plans (BSP) under the supervision of a BCBA. Assesses skills, strengths, communication needs, and behavioral challenges to create person-centered behavior programs assisting the individual to continuously grow and achieve a fulfilling life. Completes behavioral assessments, analysis, and completes scheduled reports of assigned individuals. Provides ongoing training and education to staff for the successful implementation of the behavior program. REPORTS TO:
IDD Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor

CAREER ADVANCEMENT OPPORTUNITY: Employees can receive supervised BCBA hours.

LOCATION:
This position will be working in North Brunswick NJ area.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
